How 'about some info, like what year and model you're looking at?

RE: Rexhall Motor Homes

We own a '95 Rexair and love it. Quality throughout. For an older coach, we would put it up against anything of comparable age. We are on the P30 Chevy chassis and the strongest 454 I've ever owned.

RE: Anyone travelling for the Fourth??

We are going to go outside, set in our lawn chairs and watch the fireworks as we are right behind the Timber Linn Park in Albany Oregon for another 6 weeks. Cost of fuel $0.00.

RE: Warm Weather Storage- Run A/C or Not?

We leave ours set at a comfortable 74 degrees for the mice. Wait a minute, hold on, we live in ours fulltime so I guess we don't count. Sorry 'bout that.

RE: Airtabs 7/2 2500 miles update with MPG

We love ours and on my recent post on the subject, I responded to those that wanted to know privately as I was tired of the negative comments from some that we talking out their butts because their mouths knew better. We gained, on a 2600 mile trip, about 1-2 mpg. Everything else was in line with the OP.

Brother inlaw? Yes, I have blamed the brother inlaw for a lot of things I've done. ;) :R :B

RE: Blinker fluid?

I sent my wife to O'reilly Auto for a bag of Compression and they sent her back with a brown paper bag full of it.

RE: Air Conditioner Problem

You may be onto something when you mention the 'vacuum" symptom. It is possible that you have an air leak between your discharge and return sections. These two sections should be isolated in two places. Down in the coach, up inside the access panel on the ceiling and up on the roof where the schroud covers the eveaporator coil. These roof-schrouds usually have foam rubber between the sheet-metal and if the seal is comprimised, you could get a vacuum from the blower wheel (not the fan blade in front of the condensor coil) which could suck condensation back into the unit. I'll climb up and check that. Not to sound stupid, but you're not talking about the seal between the unit and the MH are you? If so that seal seems to be good.

RE: Air Conditioner Problem

Did you check the seal? Yes, it is good. If the seal was bad, I wouldn't be getting a vacuum.

RE: Air Conditioner Problem

Fan on high makes no difference. Tightening the bolts makes no difference. Forgot to mention, this unit has done this almost from day one. It is also only 15 months old. Took it in for warranty several times and every time they said it was fixed and every time about 3 weeks later it was leaking again.

RE: Why Don't You Wave?

I always wave at other MH's. If you are so uptight driving that you can't lift one hand off the wheel, then you either need to get some lessons or get off the road. Lighten up some and you'll find these things a lot easier and a lot more fun to drive.

Air Conditioner Problem

I've got a leaker, dripper, etc. When we turn it on, after about 10 minutes it will start dripping in the room. I have been on top of the coach, took the cover off, and when I crack the seal and open the area where the fan blows into the mh the dripping stops. It's not a drainage problem as the drains are well open. Also when we turn off the air we have this flood down the side of the mh. I seems like there is a vacuum when the seal to the fan area is intact. Any ideas? I'm at my wits end as now we've got a nice stain on the carpeted ceiling.

RE: severe weather

This is probably going to get me yelled at, but it's how I feel on this topic. If you choose to have a pet then you have accepted responsibility for his care and well being. If you're not willing to stay with them and protect them then don't take on the responsibility to start with.JMHO I wish I had said that or could say it better.:C:)

RE: Just installed AirTabs

Since this discussion has got so many doubters and self appointed experts, I'm not going to do a public evaluation. I will just say, you will get shot with one of my 45's if you try to take them off my motorhome. Mods, please close this thread. Thanks, Alwims.

RE: Just installed AirTabs

$200 for a kit of 80 tabs. We are leaving in about 2 hrs. Will report Monday. Also, it turns out the trip will be just under 800 miles so we should get a pretty good idea what the tabs will do.
